About Melissa A. Cook
Melissa Cook spent 20 years with the Hewlett-Packard Company in systems engineering and management in the formative years of the distributed computing industry after graduating with a Computer Science Degree in 1979 from the University of Washington.  She has senior level management experience developing successful enterprise architecture and other executive-level decision-making frameworks used in the Board Rooms at Fortune 500 corporations.  She is familiar with a broad variety of governance concepts from Zachman, TOGAF, FEAP, NASCIO and from strategic technology suppliers including HP, IBM, Microsoft, SAP and Oracle.  She regularly writes opinions for ComputerWorld and is the author of the book "Building Enterprise Information Architectures" published by Prentice-Hall.  Melissa's publications and writings are referenced around the world in over 50 languages.
