About Melissa A. Cook
Melissa Cook has over 30 years in the high tech industry, primarily in systems engineering management and enterprise architecture design and consulting.  She enjoyed 20 years with the Hewlett-Packard Company in the formative years of the distributed computing industry after graduating with a Computer Science Degree in 1979 from the University of Washington.  She has most recently been a management consultant with the M A Cook Corporation.  She has senior level management experience developing successful enterprise architecture and other executive-level decision-making frameworks used in the Board Rooms at Fortune 500 corporations and large public sector organizations.  She regularly writes opinions for ComputerWorld and is the author of the book "Building Enterprise Information Architectures" published by Prentice-Hall.
